The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to Hilton’s home on August 4 after receiving multiple calls about a man live-streaming acts of self-harm. According to police, officers spoke with family members outside and “tactically disengaged” – a careful approach that likely saved a life.
The person was “safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,” police said to the media, though they did not identify Hilton by name.
