Maripily Rivera has once again captured public attention—this time for matters of the heart. The winner of Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos Season 4 set social media ablaze after sharing affectionate photos with a mysterious man whose identity remains undisclosed.
In an interview with Telemundo, Rivera confirmed that she is no longer single. “He’s someone I’m sharing my life with; he’s Mexican. We’ve been in a calm, solid relationship for about three months, and yes, I can say I’m seeing someone,” she revealed with a smile.
Rivera explained her decision to keep her partner’s identity private: “I don’t want to make it public because he’s a very private man. He’s a high-ranking television executive, and I’d like to keep it that way for now. But I do want my followers to know that I’m in a relationship.”
After dedicating much of her time to her career as an entrepreneur and entertainer, Rivera said she finally felt ready to open her heart again. “Those who know me know that since I left La Casa de los Famosos, I haven’t been seen in any relationship because I’ve been focused on work. Now I’ve given myself the chance, and I’ve been with this person for three months—we’re having a great time,” she said.
When asked whether her boyfriend’s identity might eventually become public, Rivera admitted it’s likely inevitable. “At some point, it’ll come out. Last weekend I went to a concert, and people will take photos and videos. But from me, you won’t see a direct post of him—maybe from afar, from behind, but nothing more. I want to keep the relationship that way,” she explained.
El Huracán Boricua also expressed her hopes for the future of the relationship: “It’s a very beautiful, stable relationship, and I hope it lasts.”
While Rivera has chosen discretion, her Hoy Día co-host Chikybombom offered a few playful details about the mystery man. “What I know is that he’s totally devoted to her—he invests in her, he’s not into the spotlight, which is why she hides his face. They’ve taken time to get to know each other, and she’s been traveling to Mexico often. He’s generous, successful, and not looking for fame or attention,” Chikybombom said.
The couple has already been spotted together at several public events, including the recent San Juan Moda gala in Puerto Rico, where they attended the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada on April 30.
With her signature charisma and newfound happiness, Maripily Rivera seems to be embracing this new chapter with confidence and joy—balancing her thriving career with a love story that, for now, she prefers to keep just between them.
