Ana Patricia Gámez had to move into a small apartment, while her estranged husband, Luis Martínez, continues to live in the mansion they once shared as a family. It turns out that Martínez refused to vacate the property, and the *La Mesa Caliente* guest host decided to prioritize her mental health—as well as that of her children, Giulietta and Gael—over financial debts. She is now paying the rent for her small apartment while continuing to cover expenses—including the mortgage—for the house where her husband resides.
When the separation was announced, both parties decided to continue living in the same house. Although many expected that, out of chivalry, Mr. Martínez would move out, that was not the case. He is legally entitled to stay. According to *Las Top News*, Martínez’s attorney stipulated in the lawsuit that if a hostile environment were to arise, Ana Patricia would be required to leave.
According to the media outlet, the atmosphere did not turn hostile. However, Ana Patricia decided to pack her bags and leave—after switching to a slightly more aggressive attorney—in order to preserve her mental health.
What will happen with the children? The children will continue to follow the established schedule regarding the days allotted to each parent; however, starting this week, they will have two places to live: when it is their father’s turn, they will stay at the mansion, and when it is their mother’s turn, they will go to the apartment.
They met on 2012
Ana Patricia and Luis Martínez met in 2012. After filming a Christmas campaign together, Karla Martínez asked Ana Patricia to give her a ride home. However, this was all part of a plan to introduce her to her brother, Luis—for he had seen her on television and liked what he saw. Consequently, he had asked his sister to introduce them. The perfect opportunity arose when they filmed the campaign right near his house.
Once Ana Patricia agreed to take her home, Karla called her brother and told him to take a shower, explaining that she was on her way with Ana Patricia and intended to invite her inside the house.
When they arrived, the entire family was gathered to welcome Ana Patricia. She walked in, and a grand celebration ensued—complete with food, music, and drinks. It was love at first sight.
They married on 2014
After two years of dating, Ana Patricia and Luis tied the knot. The couple was married on May 31, 2014, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Family members from both sides were present at the wedding.
Ana Patricia chose designer Adan Terriquez to create her wedding gown—a fitted silhouette that flared out into a sweeping train adorned with floral details. Radiant in her dress, she walked down the aisle on her father’s arm toward Luis Carlos, who was waiting for her dressed in a traditional black *charro* suit, with a red rose in his lapel that perfectly matched the bride’s bouquet.
The most emotional moment of the wedding came when the bride and groom vowed their fidelity and eternal love to one another, exchanging beautiful words in which Ana expressed her desire to become a mother—little imagining that, just a few months later, they would welcome their daughter, Giulietta, into the world.
Ana Patricia gave birth to Giulietta on May 15, 2015
Ana Patricia gave birth to her firstborn, Giulietta, on May 5, 2015, at Mount Sinai Hospital. The baby was born via natural delivery and weighed approximately 7 pounds. Ana Patricia and Luis decided to give her that name following a trip they took to Europe.
Three years later, Ana Patricia became a mother once again. In July 2018, the Mexican native welcomed a baby boy, whom she named Gael.
Ana Patricia and Luis Martinez renew their vows in Enamorándonos in 2024
Ana Patricia and Luis celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows on the show *Enamorándonos*. She once again wore her wedding gown, while he donned his *charro* suit.
A special production was staged on the set of *Enamorándonos USA* to mark the momentous occasion; she appeared alongside her husband and their young children, who also dressed up smartly for the event. “I remember that 10 years ago, I told you how much I looked forward to becoming a mother. Today, I am the mother of Giulietta and Gael. Ten years later, I say thank you, for I am the mother of these wonderful children; and—as I mentioned—every single day, we both strive to be better parents, better spouses, and better human beings. I would marry you a thousand times over,” said Ana Patricia.
Ana Patricia and Luis Martínez separated on October 2025

A year after renewing her vows, Ana Patricia announces that she is getting divorced. That’s right: in October 2025, the TV presenter announced that she was separating after 11 years of marriage.
According to legal documents obtained by journalist Mandy Fridmann, the presenter filed for divorce in a petition that reveals significant details regarding the separation.
According to the filing, Ana Patricia alleges that “the marriage is irretrievably broken” and that, over the past several years, she has been the one responsible for maintaining the family’s well-being—both emotionally and financially.
The document also stipulates the following: “The parenting plan shall designate both parents as shared parental guardians, in the best interest of the minor children. The parties shall agree upon a shared parenting schedule that promotes the children’s general well-being. If an agreement is not reached, the court shall establish said plan in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.”
Furthermore, it specifies that both parties must contribute to expenses related to the children’s care, including childcare, tuition, tutoring, extracurricular activities, and summer programs.
Separately, Ana Patricia requests an unequal distribution of marital assets, arguing that her efforts and material contributions were instrumental in acquiring and maintaining the family estate. The document indicates that the court shall consider this request should it be proven that the husband engaged in the mismanagement or squandering of marital funds, or incurred debts that did not benefit the marriage.
The lawsuit also reveals economic and personal tensions between the couple. According to the document, Ana Patricia had entrusted Luis Carlos with the management of her business finances; however, she now suspects that he may have concealed income or transferred or withdrawn funds for his personal benefit. For this reason, she seeks full control of her companies and requests that her former partner be barred from any involvement therein, in addition to requesting that the court exempt her from any *status quo* order that might restrict her business decisions.
