A new video announces that Nancy Guthrie’s children are ready to pay the ransom demanded by the kidnappers. Savannah Guthrie, sitting between her siblings, announces that they are ready to “pay whatever it takes.” This Sunday, the media reported that the kidnappers are demanding $6 million in bitcoin by the deadline of Monday, Feb. 9 at 5 p.m. MT.“We received your message, and we understand,” said Savannah Guthrie, “Today” co-anchor and Nancy Guthrie’s daughter. “We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her.”
On Day 8 of Nancy’s disappearance, no suspects have been identified. Former CIA member and FBI special agent Tracy Walder tells Page Six the latest details of the ransom note shows “this person definitely knows what they’re doing.”. The kidnappers using bitcoin and limiting communication with the family further prevents authorities from tracking their whereabouts, according to Walder.

On Saturday nigh, several officers went to the home of Annie, Savannah’s older sister, on Saturday night. Some media outlets were present and filmed the moment agents searched the property.
“Authorities were inside Annie Guthrie’s residence for several hours, photographing multiple rooms until about 10:30 PM local time. Reporters were kept at a distance as agents worked, with one officer seen carrying a silver briefcase into the home, raising questions about what evidence was collected”, reported TMZ.

The search for Nancy Guthrie started in Arizona, where authorities report that the 84-year-old was abducted from her home near Tucson. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is collaborating with the FBI, which is offering a $50,000 reward for any information that could lead to her recovery. Law enforcement officials emphasize that Guthrie requires daily medication, and not receiving it could have fatal consequences.
