Ivanna Lissette Ortiz is the Alleged Shooter at Rihanna’s Home

The singer’s Beverly Hills mansion was hit by gunfire from a woman identified as Ivanna Lissette Ortiz. Rihanna was home when the suspect fired several shots with a rifle at her Beverly Hills, California mansion on Sunday, March 8, NBC reports.

There were “approximately 10 shots,” and one bullet pierced a wall of the house while the singer was home, the LA Times reported, citing the Los Angeles Police Department. Rihanna’s partner, A$AP Rocky, was not there, a “family source” told The Post.

It is unknown whether their children, RZA, Riot Rose, and Rocky, were at the mansion.

Police responded to the shooting at 1:21 pm on Sunday

Police responded to the shooting report at 1:21 p.m. and arrested a woman approximately 30 minutes after the 911 call, the outlet reports.

According to police sources, TMZ reports, the suspect is 35 and “drove up to the Los Angeles property and fired several shots in the direction of the house.”

A car matching the description of the one seen at Rihanna’s house during the shooting was spotted in nearby Sherman Oaks, where officers made a traffic stop and arrested the suspect, LAPD sources told NBC Los Angeles. Ortiz was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Sunday and booked into L.A. County jail shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, according to sheriff’s records.

Ortiz has been booked for attempted murder after allegedly firing multiple rounds into Rihanna’s home from her car. Her bail was listed in jail records at $10.225 million.

In videos uploaded to social media in January and February, Ortiz appears ranting incoherently about Rihanna’s death and other topics. She keeps saying Rihanna stole her thoughts, stays jealous of everything she does, invades her dreams every night, and blocks her from the life she’s supposed to have. She claims Rihanna’s face is the devil. Ortiz says that Rihanna only makes music so she can do witchcraft. Oriz says that “when Rihanna is gone, God will take her to her future”.
