William Valdés is returning to Telemundo! According to Las Top News, the Cuban actor is confirmed to participate in La Casa de los Famosos, but not as a contestant. William is returning as the host of a podcast that will air after LCDLF, which is scheduled Monday thru Friday and Sundays. The podcast will feature exclusive interviews, recaps, and behind-the-scenes content that only he will have access to.

Although there had been rumors that William might participate in this sixth season, he said that he is not mentally prepared for the reality show.

The sixth season of Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos, which premiered on February 17, 2026, will feature participants isolated under 24/7 surveillance. While the exact final duration has not been specified, the format typically lasts several weeks (historically between 58 and 84 days), with participants subjected to challenges such as 48-hour isolation in a cabin.

The same source claims that Diógenes Lluberes, the former executive producer of Hoy Día, is returning alongside William. It’s rumored that Lluberes didn’t leave Telemundo on the best of terms and had issues with several talents, including Chikybombom. But now, both are returning to Telemundo with a new project.


Many don’t remember that Telemundo gave William his first opportunity to become known on TV in the United States. He then moved to Despierta América, where many remember his controversial departure due to indiscipline. After his controversial departure from Univision, William went to Los Angeles and got a job as co-host of Buenos Días Familia on Estrella TV.

He later moved to Mexico to join TV Azteca. There, he worked as a host and contributor on various entertainment programs. Now, Telemundo is giving William another chance, and he’s reportedly confirmed to host the La Casa de los Famosos podcast.

William, who is currently starring in the Mexican play “La Obscenidad de la Carne” alongside Elizabeth Álvarez and Jorge Salinas with resounding success, started in the entertainment industry at a very young age.
