Yailin La Más Viral was arrested on Tuesday morning while driving her Lamborghini in Dominican Republic. Officers detained her during an operation in the Los Mina district. Upon searching the vehicle, they found two firearms. She was arrested along with her two companions, confirmed the National Police.
The Preventive Police and the Central Directorate of Investigation (DICRIM) intercepted the artist on Aris Azar Street while she was traveling in a green Lamborghini bearing license plate Z007935.
According to the police report, a fifth-generation Glock 19 pistol—equipped with a fire selector, and two rounds—was seized from inside the vehicle, along with a second pistol, a Zoraki, containing five rounds.
Yailin Arrested for Illegally Carrying Firearms
The performer is being investigated by assistant prosecutors from the Homicide Department for the illegal possession of a firearm, under the instructions of the chief prosecutor, Milciades Guzmán Leonardo.
According to media reports, the reggaeton artist is reportedly being accused of illegally carrying firearms, despite the fact that they are allegedly linked to her bodyguard.
The police stated that the case remains under investigation to determine the origin of the weapons and potential legal implications.
Yailin was Arrested in Florida in 2023
This is not Yailin La Más Viral’s first legal incident.
In 2023, the Dominican singer was arrested in Florida, United States, and charged with several counts for alleged assaults against her ex-partner, the Mexican rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, at the residence they shared in Palm Beach.
