ViX launches new project to conquer the digital audience. The Spanish-language streaming service ViX launched ViX MicrO in Miami, a platform of original micro-content in a vertical format designed for digital audiences who consume short stories on mobile devices.

ViX MicrO offers scripted stories with episodes of approximately one minute and seasons of around 60 chapters, designed for continuous viewing on mobile phones. During the presentation, Rafael Urbina explained that the project aims to adapt the traditional Spanish television melodrama genre to new digital consumption habits.

The launch took place at Univision’s Miami studios during an event that brought together talent from productions, press, content creators, and industry executives. The experience included activations inspired by some of the series available on the platform, where attendees could tour themed sets and create social media content alongside the actors.
