The Epic Trailer of “Dune: Part Three” (Release Date)

Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya’s characters, Paul Atreides and Chani, make their return in the first trailer for Dune: Part Three, which Warner Bros. unveiled on Tuesday, March 17.

In this new film, Chalamet’s Atreides grapples with the consequences of his choices made in 2024’s Dune: Part Two, set 17 years after he ascends to become the emperor of the known universe.

The recently unveiled character posters showcase the impressive, star-studded ensemble cast that propels the finale of the trilogy. Returning stars Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, and Florence Pugh are featured prominently alongside massive franchise additions. The promotional rollout offers fans a closer look at Anya Taylor-Joy—whose role as Alia Atreides was briefly teased in the previous film—as well as highly anticipated appearances by Robert Pattinson, Jason Momoa, and Isaach De Bankolé as the Fremen warrior Farok.

Dune: Part Three is scheduled to premiere in theaters and IMAX on December 18, 2026, placing it in a direct box-office showdown with Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.

Fans Reactions

After Warner Bros. released the first trailer for Dune: Part Three on Tuesday, 4 million people watched the trailer in less than 5 hours.

Check out some of their reactions bellow:

“The biggest achievement here is Delivering a Trilogy of this peak quality in 5 years”

“Our son should have the wisdom of his grandfather.
The son: “would you still love me if I was a worm?”

“It’s a shame that the first two parts didn’t win an Oscar. It would be a shame if this part didn’t win an Oscar because in the last 10 years no epic of this high quality has ever been produced like the Dune Trilogy. ( Denis Villeneuve certainly deserves an Oscar for every part of this trilogy.)”

“Your father never started a war” cements the entire film I’m so excited
