Offset Responds to Lil Tjay’s Arrest at the “rat” Accusation

Days after being shot outside a Florida casino, Offset has spoken out publicly, firing back at rapper Lil Tjay’s accusation that he is a “rat.” The former Migos member took to social media to address the claim, leaving a sharp comment that quickly caught fans’ attention.

Offset responded under a post shared by The Shade Room Teens, which reported on Lil Tjay’s remarks following his release from jail after being arrested for disorderly conduct. “U ain’t buss nun,” Offset wrote, a phrase commonly used in hip-hop circles to challenge someone’s credibility or toughness.

The exchange comes amid a tense situation following a violent altercation that left Offset hospitalized. According to the Seminole Police Department, the rapper was shot Monday night in the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition and placed under close observation.

Lil Tjay Initiated the Confrontation?

Lil Tjay, born Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested in connection with a fight that reportedly took place shortly before the shooting. A probable cause affidavit obtained by TMZ alleges that Lil Tjay initiated the confrontation. Surveillance footage allegedly shows him exiting his vehicle, pointing out Offset to his group, and approaching him around 7:22 p.m. Moments later, a brawl broke out between the two entourages.

During the altercation, one of Lil Tjay’s associates allegedly drew a firearm and shot Offset. Police arrived shortly after, breaking up the fight and detaining several individuals. Lil Tjay was booked on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct-affray and released on a $500 bond.

Lil Tjay told Reporters that Offset was a ‘rat’

Upon leaving jail, Lil Tjay told reporters that Offset was a “rat,” though he did not provide further explanation. He has denied any involvement in the shooting and claimed that he and Offset did not physically fight that night. His attorney, Dawn Florio, later described the allegations against her client as “false rumors.”

Offset’s brief but pointed response online suggests that tensions between the two rappers remain high. As investigations continue, fans and industry observers are watching closely to see how the situation unfolds between the Atlanta and Bronx artists.

The fight between Lil Tjay and Offset’s friends went on until police arrived, cops add.
